The popular ToLiss A321 series for X-Plane has just received a fresh update, bringing a host of new features, refinements, and bug fixes. The new version, A321 V1.8 (Build 1658), is now available through the Skunkcrafts Updater and will be downloadable directly from stores soon.

New Features

This update introduces several exciting additions that enhance realism and usability:

  • Weather Radar Upgrade: Adapted to X-Plane 12.3’s new weather radar functionality.

  • EFB In-Screen Keyboard: A virtual keyboard is now built directly into the Electronic Flight Bag (and works in VR too).

  • Neo Enhancements:

    • LR fuel panel for the A321neo LR (requires the A321neo add-on).

    • Optional ACT added for the A321neo XLR, now that it’s part of the official TCDS (requires the A321neo add-on).

  • Aircraft Motion Freeze: A new function that allows users to configure the aircraft while it remains stationary, perfect for setup and training.

Bug Fixes & Functional Improvements

ToLiss has also worked hard under the hood, addressing several issues and fine-tuning aircraft systems:

  • Fixed terrain tile loading during waypoint skipping.

  • Retuned maximum continuous thrust of the IAE V2533 engine.

  • Corrected red ADF1 flag display in ARC Mode.

  • Improved fuel/time predictions when only departure and arrival airports are present.

  • Enhanced idle descent profile to stay closer to target speeds.

  • Fixed refueling speed in ISCS and improved FMS calculations.

  • Adjusted landing gear spring constants for more realistic ground deflections (XP12 only).

  • Numerous improvements to FMS, MCDU, hydraulic, and autopilot systems for closer alignment with real-world Airbus behavior.
