Big Fat Simulations is keeping the chaos in the tower alive with fresh updates, new content, and even a brand-new title on the horizon.

Updates Coming to Airport Madness 3D

The development team has been hard at work refining both volumes of Airport Madness 3D, and players can expect another update rolling out next week. The highlights include:

  • London City Airport Taxiway: A full-length taxiway, just like in the real world, will soon be available. This will ease the challenge for new players, but don’t worry—veterans can still tackle the original backtrack version if they prefer.

  • Trophy Case Overhaul: The achievement system is getting a sharp new look with smoother navigation and a more rewarding way to track your progress.

Looking ahead, Airport Madness 3D: Volume 2 will welcome Princess Juliana Airport this November. Famous for its dramatic beach approach, this single-runway Caribbean gem promises to be one of the most exciting additions yet. On top of that, more aircraft models are also in the pipeline for the series.

Introducing Airport Madness: Evolution

Fans of the series have something even bigger to look forward to. Big Fat Simulations has announced a brand-new title: Airport Madness: Evolution.

While there’s no release date yet, the concept is ambitious—airports that grow. Players will start with a single runway and two gates, then expand operations into a bustling international hub. The idea takes inspiration from the studio’s early Flash titles but expands it into the AM3D universe with added depth and scale.

Meet the Voices Behind the Chaos

One of the unique charms of Airport Madness has always been its authentic voices. Instead of AI, real controllers, pilots, and aviation professionals lend their talent to bring the experience to life. Here’s the lineup:

  • Dina Jammaz – 27 years in the tower, cool under pressure, and currently serving as Director at Elevate Aviation.

  • Elizabeth Brown – 21 years in ATC, 10 years at Reno Air Races, and a commercial pilot with a melodic touch on the mic.

  • Roger Precious – Founder of Big Fat Simulations, Citation pilot, and flight instructor with 32 years in ATC.

  • Darren G. – 25 years in Vancouver ATC and a private pilot, always cheerful no matter how busy the skies get.

  • Dave Liscombe – Nearly 50 years in aviation, with a steady, deep voice shaped by decades of experience as both a helicopter and fixed-wing instructor.

  • Justin Gibson – Not a pilot, not a controller, just a gamer whose intentionally flat delivery adds pure chaos energy.

From chaotic backtracks at London City to beachside approaches at Princess Juliana, the Airport Madness franchise is clearly not slowing down. And with Airport Madness: Evolution on the horizon, virtual controllers everywhere may want to start sharpening their multitasking skills now.
