Friday the 13th may be unlucky for some—but for PMDG fans, it’s a day worth celebrating. In a fitting twist of timing, PMDG hit Build 113 for its Boeing 777 lineup today and rolled out a major update across the board for Microsoft Flight Simulator users. Even better, the long-awaited 777-300ER is now officially released for MSFS 2024.
Here’s what’s new:
All versions of the 777-200ER, 777F, and 777-300ER have received the 2.0.113 update for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, while the 777-200ER, 777F, and now the newly released 777-300ER for MSFS 2024 have been updated to version 2.4.113. These updates are available now via the PMDG Operations Center for customers who purchased directly through PMDG.com.
Marketplace users, however, will need to wait a little longer. PMDG has acknowledged that they're still navigating conflicting data and instructions received from Microsoft regarding the update and release process for Marketplace users on both MSFS 2020 and 2024. While there is no current ETA, the team emphasized their commitment to delivering a smooth experience and is working closely with Microsoft to resolve the situation.
Looking ahead, the 777-200LR is about to enter beta testing this weekend, with PMDG aiming for a release by the end of the month. No new updates were provided for the 737 or 747 product lines this week, as the focus remains squarely on the 777 family.
In short, it’s a big week for long-haul simmers—especially those flying under the PMDG banner in MSFS 2024. Keep an eye on the Operations Center for future updates, and maybe, just maybe, consider Friday the 13th your new favorite day to fly.
