Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) has announced a strategic collaboration with Embraer, a leader in the aerospace industry. This partnership aims to introduce several Embraer aircraft models into the simulator's "Expert Series," starting with the Embraer Praetor 600, scheduled for release later this year.

Jorg Neumann, head of Microsoft Flight Simulator, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting Embraer's innovative fleet and focus on advancement as aligning perfectly with MSFS's goals. He stated that the collaboration seeks to bring numerous Embraer aircraft models to the simulator, enhancing the virtual aviation experience for users.

Felipe Alfaia, Director of Marketing, CRM, and Customer Experience at Embraer Executive Jets, shared his excitement about featuring the Praetor 600 in Microsoft Flight Simulator. He described the Praetor 600 as the world's most disruptive and technologically advanced super-midsize jet, and looked forward to its integration into the simulator later in 2025.

The Praetor 600 boasts impressive capabilities, including the ability to fly nonstop from London to New York or São Paulo to Miami. It features full fly-by-wire technology, an industry-exclusive upper tech panel, and Ka-band connectivity. The cabin offers a six-foot-tall, flat-floor design with fully berthing seats that can convert into seven-foot-flat beds, providing a comfortable experience for passengers. Additionally, it includes a vacuum service lavatory, active turbulence reduction, and a whisper-silent cabin environment.

This collaboration between Microsoft Flight Simulator and Embraer promises to bring a new level of realism and variety to virtual pilots, allowing them to experience the advanced features and performance of Embraer's aircraft within the simulator. The introduction of the Praetor 600 is eagerly anticipated by the flight simulation community, marking a significant milestone in the ongoing development of MSFS's aircraft offerings.
