Flight attendants fail breathalyzer before flight

In a recent incident at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport, two Delta Air Lines flight attendants were removed from duty after failing random breathalyzer tests before a scheduled flight to New York's JFK Airport. One attendant registered a blood alcohol content (BAC) of 0.143—seven times the Netherlands' legal limit of 0.02 for flight crews—resulting in a fine of $1,900.
