• SimConnect Integration: By adopting SimConnect, smartCARS 3 eliminates the need for FSUIPC and XPUIPC, resulting in a more seamless connection between your simulator and the tracking system. Please note that this change means FS2004 is no longer supported.

• Enhanced PIREP Filing: In the event of a simulator crash, you now have the option to cancel your flight or file your Pilot Report (PIREP), ensuring your flight data is preserved.

Important Note for Virtual Airlines:

Virtual Airlines utilizing smartCARS 3 must update to the latest API to ensure compatibility with this update. The latest version will not function without this updated API.

Upcoming Changes:

In alignment with Microsoft's decision to end support for Windows 10 on October 14th, 2025, TFDi Design will officially cease support for Windows 10 on October 31st, 2025. Users are encouraged to upgrade their operating systems to ensure continued compatibility with TFDi Design products.
