Microsoft has announced a shipping delay for the Limited Collector’s Edition (LCE) of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 outside the United States. While U.S. customers can expect their pre-orders to arrive on time, international orders will not be shipped until early December. To keep fans engaged until their LCEs arrive, Microsoft is offering a temporary solution: a Game Pass token for a month of access to the Standard Edition of MSFS 2024, along with a “Standard to Aviator Upgrade” once players log in and start the game.
To activate the offer, international customers who pre-ordered the LCE must provide their gamertag to Aerosoft. This unlocks the upgrade content, which will be delivered after the initial sign-in. While this is a temporary workaround, players will still enjoy the same exciting new features of MSFS 2024 as they wait for the physical edition to arrive in December.
For those concerned about their Game Pass token expiring before receiving their LCE, Microsoft advises waiting until the official launch on November 19th to activate it. Once their LCE ships, customers can redeem a code to unlock the Aviator Edition, ensuring all their progress carries over.
Microsoft also offers a straightforward refund process for those who wish to cancel their LCE order before it ships. Simply request a refund through Aerosoft’s support if the product hasn’t been opened. As excitement for the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 grows, this proactive response by Microsoft ensures that no fan is left grounded for too long.
