Through their social networks, Just Flight and Blue Bird Simulations have further previewed their much-anticipated Boeing 757 rendition for Microsoft Flight Simulator, this time with focus on the virtual cockpit.
Although the previews still do not represent the final product, we can already notice that a lot of attention was put to the wear and tear details throughout the cockpit. That’s certainly a nice touch, given the youngest 757 is already over 18 years in service.
The developers have, in the comment section under the previews, confirmed the jet will come with high-resolution 4K textures, and discussions are still being held about using 8K textures.
Just Flight’s and Blue Bird Simulations’ 757 for MSFS is currently scheduled to release in the first half of 2023. Initially, the addon will feature the -200 and -300 passenger variants. The cargo variant will be introduced later as an expansion pack.
The team has previously clarified, in regard to the depth of the simulation, that the aircraft will be accessible to simmers of all experience levels. It wasn’t specified what exactly that means, apart from stating that there will be a significant jump in systems depth versus the default airliners.
