Sky Blue Radio, the leading online radio station for aviation enthusiasts, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as IT Volunteers. This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to contribute your technical expertise to support the operations and infrastructure of our station while gaining valuable experience in IT within the radio broadcasting industry.

Responsibilities:
– Manage and maintain the station’s website, ensuring functionality, security, and user experience.
– Provide technical support to staff and volunteers, troubleshooting issues related to broadcasting equipment, software, and systems, including SAM Broadcaster and Radio DJ.
– Implement and maintain backup and recovery solutions to protect station data and assets.
– Monitor server performance and network security, implementing updates and patches as needed.
– Collaborate with other departments to support special projects and initiatives.

Requirements:
– Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
– Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and web hosting platforms.
– Knowledge of broadcasting software and equipment, such as SAM Broadcaster and Radio DJ, is a plus.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
– Availability to dedicate at least 5 hours per week to IT-related tasks and projects.
