FlyByWire has shared an exciting new update on their A380X project for Microsoft Flight Simulator, giving fans a deeper look into the technical progress and visual details of the aircraft model. Known for their impressive A32NX, FlyByWire aims to bring a similarly high standard to their A380X, building on detailed feedback and demand from the sim community. A recent video released by FlyByWire highlights a full demonstration of the A380, showcasing all flight stages from startup to shutdown, as well as intricate features like wing flex dynamics, which respond realistically to turbulence, altitude, and aircraft load.
The A380X, eagerly anticipated by the community, was one of the top-three most-awaited aircraft in a 2023 Navigraph survey, and FlyByWire is reportedly pushing the limits of what freeware can offer in flight simulation with it. Though there is no release date yet, FlyByWire’s continued transparency and consistent updates suggest that development is progressing smoothly.
