Louisville Regional Airport Authority hit by a ransomware attack

The Louisville Regional Airport Authority confirmed Monday that files were hit by a ransomware attack. The attack did not impact operations or security systems at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport or Bowman Field, according to a statement from spokeswoman Sara Brown. That statement said the ransomware “impacted localized Louisville Regional Airport Authority files” but did not provide further details about the files or the attack. Louisville Courier Journal
