What’s New with the 777F?

The PMDG 777F is the second release in the four-part PMDG 777 series and is designed specifically for cargo operations. Packed with advanced features and realistic gameplay elements, this standalone product delivers unparalleled immersion for virtual cargo pilots.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

• Realistic Cargo Hauling Operations: From short hops to intercontinental flights, the 777F replicates the experience of piloting one of the world’s top cargo planes.

Important Compatibility Notes

Currently, the PMDG 777F is only compatible with MSFS 2020. While the team is eager to bring this and other 777 variants to MSFS 2024, a platform limitation affecting C++/WASM-developed aircraft has delayed the process.

The fix for this issue is expected in an upcoming MSFS 2024 update. Once resolved, PMDG plans to prioritize the transition of the 777-300ER and 777F to MSFS 2024, incorporating new gameplay features unique to the platform.

MSFS 2024 Upgrade Path

PMDG is committed to providing a free upgrade path for MSFS 2020 customers of the 777-300ER and 777F to their MSFS 2024 versions. However, this plan depends on Microsoft’s policies, especially regarding the MS Marketplace. PMDG assures customers they will aim to minimize additional costs if a free upgrade becomes unfeasible due to platform restrictions.

For customers who purchased directly from PMDG, the MSFS 2024 upgrade will remain free of charge.

Micro-Update for 777-300ER

Later today, PMDG will release a micro-update for the 777-300ER (v2.00.0059) to align its features with the 777F. Keep an eye out for the announcement!
