Attention simmers and aviation enthusiasts! The latest update for GSX Pro is here, and version 3.1.7 brings exciting new features and improvements that will elevate your flight experience, particularly for those flying the Fenix A321. Let’s dive into what this update has in store.

New Features: Seated Passengers and More for the Fenix A321

If you’re a fan of the Fenix A321, GSX Pro has some great news. With this update, seated passengers are now supported for the Fenix A321. This adds a new level of immersion as you watch passengers board and get seated, making your pre-flight experience even more realistic. Whether you’re preparing for takeoff or just soaking in the atmosphere, this feature will bring your virtual airline operations closer to reality.

Installer Improvements for A32x Liveries

The GSX Pro installer has also been fine-tuned to handle exterior XML files for variation liveries in the Fenix A32x family, following suggestions from the Fenix team. This means better compatibility and smoother installation processes, making sure you can jump into the cockpit without any hassle.

Auto Reposition Feature

A highly requested feature is finally here! The new “Auto Reposition” option in the GSX settings automatically moves your aircraft to the GSX Stop position, as defined in the airport profile, when loading a flight from the Main Menu. This helps streamline your setup process and ensures you’re in the right place, ready for service, as soon as you load into the simulator.

Pushback: A Last-Minute Change of Direction

GSX (all versions) introduces a handy feature for those unexpected moments during pushback. Now, you can make a last-minute change of direction just before releasing the parking brakes. This can be a lifesaver when you realize a different pushback route is needed, giving you more control over your ground operations.

Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements

  • Crash Fix: A specific crash scenario has been resolved—GSX was crashing when using an airplane with an embedded stair and a null XML condition. This fix ensures smoother operation across various aircraft models.
  • Code Optimizations: Various optimizations have been made to reduce Simconnect traffic. This means you’ll experience better performance, with fewer delays or stutters while using GSX Pro.
