X-Plane’s Austin Meyer discusses controller sensitivity

Any real pilot will tell you that flying in a simulator is completely different than flying a real plane. Physical cues such as g-load and gravity provide feedback to real pilots as they control the aircraft through the sky.
In this fantastic video, Austin talks through the differences as our attempts to mimic flight in simulation and the lack of physical cues alters our own behaviour; changing how we treat simulation versus real flight.
Check out the great discussion between Mike Brown and Austin as they work through these differences and discuss how to calibrate controller sensitivity to create a more accurate controller input experience for your simulation.
