After showcasing the E-Jets for X-Plane in a full flight video, Marko Mamula, the CEO of X-Craft, has taken to their Youtube Channel to share some news about the project and explain why they need to delay the release date. At FSExpo 2021 the team said that they were going to release the add-on in 2022.

However, the project has been delayed. Marko said that they were convinced that their rendition of the E-Jets will be released before the end of the year. But they started working with a couple of dedicated real E-Jets pilots and hired more developers. It became clear that the project had grown and become more advanced and complex.

Delivering the add-on for X-Plane 11 and 12 at the same time was impossible to achieve in that little time. They don’t want to rush because the user will judge the product based on their first impressions. Marko added that the release of the aircraft will only be the start of the journey. They plan on working on the E-Jets for a few years to come.

Unfortunately, he hasn’t shared any new release date. He said that they were already in the beta testing phase, all the features are already working but they need to sort out all the issues and bugs and make sure that everything works fine.

To learn more about X-Craft’s rendition of the E-Jets, I suggest you have a look at Patrik’s article here. Are you looking forward to the release of this product?
