World’s largest passenger plane – Airbus A380 – lands at DIA for first time

Written by on November 6, 2018

An Airbus A380, the world’s largest passenger aircraft, landed at Denver International Airport for the first time Sunday night. The Air France flight, which was on its way to Paris from Los Angeles, landed at about 7:15 p.m. after it was diverted because of a medical issue on board, airport officials said. Airbus A380 aircraft are double-decker wide-body planes that typically are used for long-haul international flights. No airline currently uses the aircraft for flights to or from Denver. Kurt Sevits/ABC7/Denver Post Fox31 Allison Sylte & Katie Eastman/NBC9 LeighAnne Coleman/KRDO AP/Colorado Springs Gazette
