“The Bonnie Land”

Earlier this week, Willy sat down for a friendly chat with Steve Marsh, a well-travelled bonified Scotsman who has explored the fine Nation of Scotland over land, sea and air. Taking advantage of many unusual regional air routes around Scotland and the UK, Steve has produced many fantastic documentaries reaching the remote areas and islands that inhabit and surround the Scottish mainland.

Through his travels, Steve has had a chance to fly on some incredible regional aircraft including the DHC6 Twin Otter, BN-2 Britten Norman Islander and the Saab 340. His finely-crafted documentaries present a rare look at the beautiful Scottish terrain from the air and ground as he takes you on a journey around Scotland and beyond; including excursions to Europe and America.

Willy is proud to present Steve Marsh as the Haggis and Poutine Show’s first-ever Scottish interview guest. Tune in this Sunday and kick back with a coffee or a wee dram while Steve recounts his adventures. Set to a score of folk and contemporary music influenced by Steve himself, this week’s show will have you pining for a flight over the Highlands in a turbo-prop. You may even hear Willy slip into a moderate Scottish accent!

In honour of John Prine, one of Steve’s music selections, we encourage you to donate to those in need at thehellointherefoundation.org
