Willy Canuck – all things Rock! 11/14

Willy was one of the founding Presenters of SkyBlue Radio back in 2007 and returned in 2020 after a 12-year absence to raise his young family. Willy Canuck is Canadian-born and has called Scotland home for the last 16 years. Growing up with the familiar sight of Canada’s only flying Lancaster Bomber, Willy was inspired by aviation from an early age and has gained many friendships with private and professional pilots over the years.

While not a pilot himself, Willy has been heavily involved with the Flight Simulation community since 1999 and has been flying the virtual skies since first enjoying Microsoft Flight Simulator version 1. Willy believes that the love for Aviation, along with Flight Simulation provide an engaging experience that brings people together from all over the World into a peaceful, passionate and learning-focused community dedicated to respect and friendship.

It is through Flight Simulation and Aviation that Willy aspires to share his passion and learn from others by talking about their experiences in flight. Willy now hosts ‘The Haggis and Poutine Show’ every Sunday at 1300z and regularly welcomes Flight Simulation and Aviation guests to discuss their own contributions to our fantastic community.
