UK2000 Announces Jersey Airport for MSFS

Written by on September 11, 2021

UK2000 has yesterday, after a while of silence regarding their projects, announced their works on Jersey Airport (EGJJ) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Covering this beautiful airport on the scenic island of Jersey in the Channel Islands, the scenery is currently about to enter the beta testing stage very soon.

From the previews it’s clear that the scenery will aim to deliver PBR textures, accurately modelled terminal interior, static ground vehicles and aircraft, or realistically designed night lighting for the best experience no matter when you fly to the airport.

The developer has stated that the release is currently scheduled to happen in the forthcoming two weeks. No details were disclosed about the expected price.

For those unfamiliar with the airport, Jersey Airport (EGJJ) is the main airport on the biggest island in the Channel Islands in Le Manche. It sees scheduled flights connecting the island with the United Kingdom as well as seasonal flights to Germany, Spain, or even Switzerland. The airport is mainly visited by the Airbus A320 family, ATR family, and other smaller aircraft types, including the Dash 8 or Embraer ERJ-145.
