SayIntentions.AI has introduced two new updates for its users: Traffic+ is now live in Alpha Preview for Partner customers, and a new Passenger PA intercom position is now available in Pilot Portal settings.
Traffic+ is built for pilots who want busier airports than real-world schedules normally allow. The new Traffic+ Density slider lets users increase injected traffic above standard real-world gate and schedule limits, meaning you can fly out of your favorite airport at off-peak times and still enjoy a much more active environment.
The company says Traffic+ continues to honor realistic traffic logic as much as possible, including proper airline assignments, route behavior, liveries, aircraft types, and gate usage. The feature also affects both airline and GA operations, increasing density across the board.
Traffic+ is currently supported in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. X-Plane support for traffic injection is still pending.
At launch, Traffic+ is included at no extra cost for users who have purchased the SayIntentions.AI Partner Pack. Long-term pricing is still under review due to increased AI voice usage and cloud compute costs required to run higher traffic levels. The team says its goal is to keep it within the existing subscription, but final decisions will depend on real usage and backend cost data over the next few weeks.
As expected, performance can be affected when traffic levels increase. More moving AI objects typically means more system load. SayIntentions.AI says its cloud-offload strategy is designed to keep frame-rate impact as low as possible, though actual results will vary depending on hardware, add-ons, and livery complexity.
Because Traffic+ is in Alpha Preview, users should expect issues to scale with traffic density. Known challenges may include occasional disappearing traffic, imperfect ground sequencing, and other beta-level behavior. The team notes this is an early-stage preview and not yet feature complete, but says users looking for high-density traffic may still find it more fun in its current state.
To enable Traffic+, go to Pilot Portal, then Settings, then Traffic Injection, and set Traffic+ Density.
SayIntentions.AI expects to release Traffic+ to all subscribers in June.
For those interested in early access, the SayIntentions.AI Partner Program is open to all users for a one-time $50 fee. Partners receive preview access to in-development features, and the company says program proceeds help fund new R&D work. Users can upgrade through the Pilot Portal Account tab by selecting Upgrade to Partner.
In a second announcement, SayIntentions.AI added a new Passenger PA intercom position.
This feature allows pilots to assign a push-to-talk channel for passenger announcements. Passengers do not respond, but announcements are now heard by cabin crew, co-pilot, and other onboard AI roles, and are added to their contextual knowledge.
That means passenger briefings are no longer isolated flavor text. Crew AI can now factor those announcements into follow-up interactions, adding an extra layer of immersion and continuity during flights.
To configure Passenger PA, go to Pilot Portal, then Settings, then Intercom, and assign Passenger PA to an intercom channel.
With Traffic+ expanding airport activity and Passenger PA improving onboard interaction, these updates push immersion forward both outside and inside the aircraft.
