Remote towers ‘inevitable’ in U.S., FAA safety chief says

Only one U.S. airport has tested a remote air traffic control tower, but their integration into the National Airspace System (NAS) is “inevitable,” FAA’s top safety executive believes. “Remote towers are going to have to happen.
