Portland airport worker accused of using credentials to try to catch free flight

A Portland International Airport ground crew member was arrested Thursday after authorities say he used his credentials to bypass security screenings and board a plane headed to Boston without paying for a ticket, causing the flight to delayed for more than two hours. Blessing Ndayishimiye was escorted off the JetBlue plane by Port of Portland police after officers received a call around 11 p.m. of a security breach, and flight crew members noticed Ndayishimiye in the cabin and reported it, according to a Port of Portland police report.
