PMDG Shared More 737 for MSFS Previews

Written by on December 10, 2021

A day after the publishment of PMDG’s development update on December 8th, the developer shared some more previews of their upcoming 737NG3 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. As usual, these previews were shared through PMDG forums and showed various 737NG3 screenshots.

The first preview shows the overhead panel of the aircraft. According to Randazzo’s statement, current PMDG users can see a significant improvement in the details and textures. As the article says, this is mainly because of the capabilities the new Microsoft Flight Simulator gave them. “The reflections of the chrome switches just feel right”. Said Robert Randazzo.

Randazzo is also satisfied with how the volume switches turned out. You can see their detail and even determine the various materials they are made from.

The third screenshot shows the lighting in the cockpit. As you can see, there is dynamic lighting used throughout the cockpit, and it is visible on the parking brake light. Despite this, the developer is not exactly satisfied with the illumination of the parking brake light. Other than that, two more screenshots show the overall cockpit experience. In these, you can see the details of the main and MCP panels, together with the FMC.

The developer has not stated any new information about the release of this aircraft. The only thing known to the day of writing this article is the fact the aircraft may release any time. This is because there’s no schedule of release stated by the developer.
