PMDG 737 Release Date Announced
Written by Patrik on May 7, 2022
Earlier this day, Robert Randazzo shared a smaller developer update. In this one, the developer discussed the upcoming release of the 737 for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
As usual, Robert shared this information through the PMDG forums. However, the official release date was stated in the video, published along with the forum post.
The community can start flying the wonderful and famous 737 in Microsoft Flight Simulator on Monday, May 9th. However, the exact time of the release was not yet revealed. This date was officially confirmed at the PMDG office meeting, which occurred on Wednesday.
As most of the community already knows, the 737-700 version will release first. Then, the other versions (-600, -800 and -900, with their different variants) will follow throughout the summer. In addition, the developer confirmed that the next major release for Microsoft Flight Simulator is going to be the PMDG 777. All the work is going to be shifted towards the 777 when most of the variants of 737 will be released.
For all the 737 MAX fans, Randazzo confirmed that it will eventually release as well, though it is not yet known when.
Lastly, PMDG didn’t share any price tag yet, even though the developer promised that we will know it before the release.
