PILOT’s Updates Alicante for MSFS
Written by on November 3, 2021
Although they are not the most-known development group in the community, PILOT’s has been around for almost a decade now and has a plentiful of projects in their portfolio. These range from aircraft to scenery released throughout various platforms, including FSX, Prepar3D, and the most-recent Microsoft Flight Simulator as well as X-Plane 11.
The developers have recently released a new update for their latest creation of Alicante Airport (LEAL) scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator, bringing the scenery to version v1.1. This is actually the first update the scenery released after the initial release in September, earlier this year.
The update brings numerous significant improvements and fixes. New lights were added to custom runway edges and far end, mesh was improved throughout the scenery to better blend with the default imagery, or various object positions were tuned to avoid having floating objects in the scenery.
The developers have also focused on improving the ILS on runway 10 approach with which some users had issues with.
The update can be easily downloaded through the store where you purchased the scenery. If you don’t have the scenery, and would like to purchase it, you can do so through the developer’s website for €22.95 with taxes excluded.
