Orlando airport considers ousting TSA for private screening

Responding to a move by Orlando International Airport to consider ousting federal screeners in favor of private workers, the Transportation Security Administration will hold briefings Wednesday for airline and airport officials. While required to be neutral in tone, the thrust of the briefings, TSA spokeswoman Sari Koshetz said, will be that TSA screeners have performed well, received high marks from travelers and that delays arise from the airport being too cramped for more security lines.
