Orbx Releases Zadar Airport for MSFS
Written by JT on September 11, 2021
With the last Croatian airport scenery released just a few weeks ago, back in August, Orbx is on a streak with a new release for Microsoft Flight Simulator bringing another touristic destination on the coast of the Adriatic Sea to the platform.
This time covering the Zadar Airport (LDZD), the scenery offers a wide range of features, including full PBR implementation for the best user immersion, or weather-influenced ground polygons for a realistic experience in various weather conditions.
The scenery was developed by Rasha Tucakov from Orbx who also stands behind titles like Niš Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator, or Rijeka Airport for Prepar3D. In addition to the previously mentioned features, the scenery does not cover only the airport itself, but also the city of Zagreb with authentic landmarks recreated.
If you want to purchase the scenery, you can do so through the Orbx website or Orbx Central application for about €14.20 with taxes excluded.
For those unfamiliar with the airport, Zadar Airport (LDZD) is an airport on the coast of the Adriatic Sea in Croatia. It sees most traffic during the season bringing tourists from Europe to the sea. Annually, over 800 thousand passengers visit the airport.
As mentioned in the introduction, this is already the second release from Orbx covering an airport in Croatia. If you want to read more about the Split Airport (LDSP) scenery release from August, you can do so here.
