Sky Blue Radio is proud to introduce the latest single from Dutch Indonesian singer-songwriter Cynthia Thijs-Coenraad, titled Soulsister.

Cynthia, whose name is pronounced “Tize Conrad,” began writing songs at just 10 years old. In 2009, she received words of encouragement from her sister Belinda, who sadly passed away later that year. Honoring her sister’s influence, Cynthia has gone on to build a remarkable career as a contemporary jazz composer and performer.

Her unique style blends pop, jazz, Brazilian and Latin rhythms, soul, and bold big band swing. With a sultry voice and captivating stage presence, she has collaborated with top international musicians, including Paul Jackson Jr., Tom Braxton, Randy Brecker, Ronald Snijders, Allen Hinds, Richard Smith, Chieli Minucci, Dean Brown, and the horn section from Snarky Puppy.

Cynthia’s artistry has not gone unnoticed in the global music scene. She has been exclusively interviewed by Rolling Stone, nominated for Best Jazz Album by the World Entertainment Awards, received multiple nominations from the Hollywood Music in Media Awards, and earned accolades from the FPCM Red Carpet Awards, Global Music Awards, and Clouzine.

Her new single, Soulsister, pays homage not only to her deep-rooted musical journey but also to the enduring spirit of the sister who inspired her to pursue her dream.
