After a long time of development, iFly has finally released their recreation of Boeing 737 MAX series for Prepar3D. Flight1 Software has made the release announcement through their Facebook page.

According to iFly, it is their most advanced aircraft to date and brings the study level to a whole new level. It is only available for Prepar3D v5.3 and above.

The iFly team has recreated this aircraft from the ground up. Over 15 different developers, a few real 737 MAX pilots, as well as technical advisors were working on this precise rendition and its behaviour in the simulator. Using an extensive number of assets, the team was able to recreate texturing, sounds, modelling and aircraft behaviour accurately in Prepar3D v5.

The aircraft itself offers for end users custom, precise FMS, accurate autopilot, custom NAVDATA database and so on. Furthermore, the exterior model offers PBR textures, precise modelling, animations as well as a plethora of liveries. The virtual cockpit has fully functional gauges and every switch, knob and lever is clickable.

As of right now, only the MAX8 version is available. However, more versions of the aeroplane are surely coming soon. It should be noted that this is a standalone product. Thus, you don’t need to own the 737NG Advanced Series to run the 737 MAX. If you already own the 737NG Series for Prepar3D v5, you can get a 30% off your 737 MAX purchase. If you own 737NG series for Prepar3D v1 to v4, you are entitled to a 20% discount.

The aircraft is now available through the Flight1 Software website and their Agent app for approximately €65.99. If you would like to learn more about the iFly 737 MAX development, you can read our different article here.
