FlightSimExpo Releases 2025 Travel Details

After welcoming more than 2,400 attendees to Las Vegas in June, FlightSimExpo heads to New England in 2025! Deals on flights and hotels are available now at flightsimexpo.com. Attendee Registration opens December 14.

PROVIDENCE – September 1, 2024 – Flight Simulation Association (FSA) today published travel details and discounts for FlightSimExpo 2025, taking place June 27-29, 2025 at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, RI.

FlightSimExpo is one of the world’s largest dedicated flight simulation events and has welcomed more than 7,500 attendees to shows in Las Vegas, Orlando, San Diego, and Houston since 2018. The convention features developers, non-profits, virtual airlines, live ATC, seminars, product announcements, off-site activities and tours, and much more.

 2025 Schedule

The 2025 event kicks off with #FSExpoFriday, an afternoon of product updates and announcements from flight simulation’s biggest developers. Later that evening, all attendees are invited to a welcome reception, while FSA Captains have the option to attend the FlightSimExpo Banquet, featuring dinner, trivia, and prizes.

On Saturday and Sunday, attendees get access to an 85,000+ square foot exhibit hall with hands-on demos of flight and simulation hardware and software. Speaker stages will feature how-to seminars and educational discussions sourced from the community.

On the Thursday, Friday, and Monday surrounding FlightSimExpo, attendees will have access to Activities: add-on experiences like trips to Newport, air traffic control facility tours, escape rooms, planespotting trips, and more.

“In Houston and Las Vegas, attendees enjoyed access to air traffic control towers, behind the scenes airport tours, aerial dogfights, museum visits, and more,” says FSA Co-Founder Phil Coyle. “We’re working on these options now and look forward to providing more details on aviation-themed and destination-focused Activities in early 2025.”

 Travel Details

FlightSimExpo 2025 will be held at the Rhode Island Convention Center, located in walkable, foodie-friendly downtown Providence, recently named one of America’s best towns to visit.

Providence is easily accessible from around the world. Providence Airport (PVD) offers more than 30 non-stop destinations and is just a 15-minute drive from the convention center and nearby hotels. Alternatively, attendees flying into Boston’s Logan International Airport (BOS) can take a quick car, train, or bus ride and be in downtown Providence within an hour.

Attendees local to New England and New York can drive or take Amtrak—the train station is a short walk from the convention center and nearby hotels. Discounted parking is available at all FlightSimExpo hotels and at the Rhode Island Convention Center.

Overnight guests are encouraged to stay at Omni Providence Hotel, connected directly to the Rhode Island Convention Center and Providence Place Mall. The 4-star hotel, offering elevated accommodations and sweeping views of downtown Providence, is available to attendees for just $199/night, plus local taxes—and no resort fee!

“We are super excited to bring FlightSimExpo to the Northeast,” says FSA Co-Founder Evan Reiter. “This $199/night hotel rate is one of the lowest the area has seen for this time of year, so we encourage attendees to book while the rate remains available. It’s the region’s peak tourist season—make your plans to join us in Providence now.”

Alongside the Omni Providence Hotel, FlightSimExpo has secured discounted rates at a variety of nearby properties, including Marriott and Hilton brands. Attendees can also use links from the FlightSimExpo website to save on flights from Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, and codeshare partners like Air Canada and WestJet. The special rate will be available exclusively to the first FSA Captains to register, and for a limited time.
