FlightFactor Previews 777 v2 Cabin
Written by JT on September 11, 2021
People from FlightFactor have earlier this week taken to their social networks to share new previews of the probably most-awaited aircraft addon for long years, the Boeing 777 v2 for X-Plane 11.
All three previews showcasing the cabin of the Boeing 777 aircraft in the modelling software can be seen below in the article. These previews came just a few days after the developers have previewed a feature that should allow the user to change the cabin layout through the EFB.
In the comment section under the previews, one community member asked the developers whether will the interior seat layout change based on the user’s settings. The answer to that question was only: “Hopefully“.
The FlightFactor Boeing 777 v2 will be released as a paid major update to their existing Boeing 777 addon available for X-Plane 11. While it is going to be an update to the existing product, it has been developed from scratch to fully use the potential of the simulator.
With the first version of the aircraft released back in 2012, with this version the developers are working with “different principles in mind and different philosophy for the end-user“, as Ramzzess stated in the announcement post.
Further, the developers are working with seven professional pilots and a mechanic of the aircraft to achieve the best realism possible. Not to mention that the lead developer, Ramzzess, got his type rating for the aircraft earlier this year.

There is still no ETA or pricing details known on the project.
