If your sim rig has been begging for a field trip, this is your sign.
FlightSimWeekend 2026 is set for March 20-22, 2026 in the Netherlands, bringing together developers, creators, and thousands of flight sim enthusiasts for a full weekend of announcements, hands-on exhibits, and community energy. The event takes place at the Aviodrome Aviation Museum in Lelystad, with social events hosted at the nearby Van der Valk Hotel.
FlightSimWeekend calls itself the largest flight sim event in the world, with nearly 5,000 attendees and a big exhibitor presence expected again this year. It is built for everyone from hardcore cockpit builders to first-time simmers.
The preliminary schedule currently includes:
(All times listed by organizers are CET and subject to change.)
Main event and special event ticketing is active, with dedicated tickets for the Friday dinner/awards evening and Saturday night party. Organizers have also highlighted limited availability for special events, so if you are planning to attend those, move early.
Recent event coverage points to a strong exhibitor lineup and major community momentum heading into March, including significant developer presence and a packed floor plan. In short, this is not a “maybe I’ll swing by” kind of weekend, this is a “charge the camera batteries and bring your comfy shoes” weekend.
