Get ready to take to the virtual skies for a transatlantic adventure with New England Virtual and their upcoming event, “Cross The Hahbah.” Inspired by the famous Cross the Pond group flight, this event puts a New England twist on the journey, offering two days of long-haul flying, full ATC coverage, and an open invitation for all sim pilots to join in.

The event is scheduled over two days. On November 8th, pilots will head eastbound from Boston (KBOS) to Amsterdam (EHAM), while on November 9th, the westbound leg returns from Amsterdam back to Boston. Both days run from 1700z to 0200z and promise an exciting, fully staffed ATC experience courtesy of Boston Virtual ARTCC.

What makes “Cross The Hahbah” even more appealing is that it is open to everyone. Whether you’re a member of New England Virtual or just looking for a high-quality group flight experience, you’re welcome to join. Participation in the virtual airline is encouraged but not required for the event.

Several New England Virtual pilots have already signed up, so expect a lively and engaging experience on both legs of the journey. Bring your long-haul aircraft, prepare your flight plans, and get ready to enjoy the camaraderie of a shared simming experience across the Atlantic.

Keep your radios tuned to Sky Blue Radio for updates, event coverage, and live ATC audio during the flights. This is a great opportunity to connect with a community of passionate sim pilots and experience some immersive virtual aviation.
