Denver Broncos – NFL Super Bowl 50 Champions!

SKYBLUE RADIO NEWSROOM – Against much international media doubt and betting odds, the underdog National Football League’s Denver Broncos are this years crowned champions.  The Carolina Panthers outstanding offense was touted as unstoppable, even when considered against the No. 1 defense in the league.  Carolina was not able to live up to the media expectation, falling to the Denver Broncos 24-10.  The Denver defense set a championship game record — sacking the Carolina quarterback, Cam Newton, 7 times. 2016 NFL MVP, Cam Newton, was just not able to escape the clutches of the speedy Demarcus Ware, Von Miller (SB MVP), and the defensive line.  The game became a chess match of defenses as neither team’s offenses were impressive.  You can read more about this grid-iron battle on  The Denver Broncos Homecoming Parade will be hosted at Civic Center Park in Denver, Colorado on Tuesday. Festivities begin around 10am MDT – parade around 12pm MDT.

UnitedinOrangeAs avid aviators, it is fun to note that earlier in the week United Airlines custom painted a Boeing 767-400 in “United in Orange” fashion, with the Denver Broncos seal displayed proudly.  According to, the return trip should be in the much larger Boeing 747-400 – we will see if United provides as prideful a return trip for the champions return to the Mile-High City.
