His university studies include computer aided drafting, computer programming, test and measurement, project management, physics, and electrical engineering. Collin by day, Catching Lightning by night. Bringing you the Club Mix each Tuesday afternoon at 2.00pm EDT.

I’m an English, guy transplant from Canada! I more or less defected from there. (I like to think that anyway). I come from a big European family. I’m loud, crazy, and most of the time just plain “Bent”.

Thus… My Radio Theme is “The Master of Mayhem” and “Keeper of the Conundrum”. Classic Rock and Roll Baby!

I talk a lot, like a glass of “Very Dry”, White Wine. So dry I can spit dust after. I love music, live Southern shows, walking, and wiggling my toes in the sand whenever I can get to the beach. California whenever possible!

I have a super beautiful wife, Mary, 2 beautiful daughters, and 4 fantabulous Grandchildren. I’m 99.9% happy most of the time…some people find this annoying.

My guilty pleasures; are cars, rollercoasters, and the Ocean. On a weekend you can find me anywhere except where they want me to be. I’m a fan of Amusement Parks. Go figure! Electronics, was my major in college, graduated with a degree in electronics and electrical engineering. I did almost every job conceivable, but EMS was my passion, and I wound up on your radio…go figure! If you see me out and need me to be little nuts for you, I will just prove it…I will.

It's the H-Train show

Howdy! If you’ve landed here, then I suppose you wanna know my deep, dark secrets. Sorr-rey!

I will tell you I am a U.S. Navy disabled veteran. All my duty stations in a nutshell: I started in Antarctica (Summer Support based out of Port Hueneme, California) and Christchurch, New Zealand, Hawaii, Illinois briefly for Forecast school. Then off to Iceland; spent 1 year at Bethesda Naval Hospital in a quite torturous year in physical therapy. From there I ended up as Staff Meteorologist as an E-6 (after my E-7 left and told the detailer an E-7 AG wasn’t needed at that command) to an admiral in Okinawa. In between I went to the Philippines, Thailand, oh and South Korea a few times and once to Yokosuka, Japan. My final duty station was at Whidbey Island, Washington. I finished my journyeyman course there and became a Certified Journeyman Meteorologist. Still wasn’t good enough for the National Weather Service, though. Oh well. And, believe it or not – I did volunteer DJ work for Armed Forces Radio in both Antarctica and in Iceland! Out of all of that, I don’t have ONE good sea story for you!

I spent 10 years as a weather producer making all the graphics you would see for the then startup of CNN International. All but one producer were pink slipped!

Still with me?? Wow… you DO like punishment, don’t you? So after another ten years of drifting around for work, I did the absolute final injury to my back and am now in a fully disabled state as far as work goes. Good thing I had that ten years at CNN International, since I missed out on retiring from the Navy. For my 65th birthday just this last May, I gave myself one helluva gift by toally blowing the quadricep tendon to my left knee! What a way to celebrate one’s milestone birthday, huh?

Did you doze off? No?? Well. If you want to know more, then you’ll just have to ask me when I’m on-air!

OG Flow was about twelve years old when his sister (“Lil D”) introduced him to Carlos-Alberto, who went to Lil D’s high school at that time. Carlos-Alberto was in a CHH group called, “God’s New Creation” (Later known as “Kandle”). The flow began searching for God and changing his life.

Flow met up with his older brother (“Age”) and told him how he gave his life to God. Age was a gang leader in a large gang from the Denver, Colorado Metro Area. The flow was influenced by a rival gang of Ages. Age, who was recently arrested and booked on several felony charges, had recently surrendered his life to God as well. The two brothers wanted to form a Ministry where they could spread the Gospel and help gang members and inner-city people come to know God. The two formed the CHH rap group named, Preachas In ThaHood.

Preachas in tha Hood took their talents to prisons where they performed, gave testimonies, and shared their lives with inmates through Prison Fellowship. They toured all over the nation in churches, arenas, and anywhere else with a stage. They were spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to whoever would listen. Once conflicting brothers, the two pledged to introduce listeners to the only one who can change hearts–Jesus.

Preachas in tha Hood was eventually picked up by the “Worlds Largest Gospel Hip-Hop The label”, Grapetree Records. Their first album, “Gangstaz Pain” was released on Grapetree Music Group’s label Phat Boy Recordings in 1997. The fourth and last album, “GangstaHits” was released in 2001. Their second album called, “Tearz of a Gangsta” was nominated for a Dove Award under the Gospel Music Association for Best Gospel/Rap/Hip-Hop Album of the Year.
