Boundless Simulations Releases Alderney Island for MSFS

Boundless Simulations, in collaboration with iniScene, took to iniBuilds’ Facebook page to announce the release of their rendition of Alderney Island for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The culmination of hundreds of hours of work, Boundless Simulations’ Alderney Island has been brought to life in the world of MSFS in line with the latest developmental standards. It is a faithful rendition of the Island of Alderney featuring high-resolution, hand-corrected ortho imagery spanning the entire island for the utmost realism and immersion. It features custom-made buildings for VFR landmarks, several forts and hundreds of custom hand-placed objects. It also contains corrected mesh and realistic airport configuration as per official data. A custom ground poly and 4K, PBR texturing have also been included by iniScene.

The Island of Alderney is the northernmost of the inhabited Channel Islands and part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey, a British Crown dependency. At three square miles, it is the third largest of the Channel Islands and 60 miles south of the coast of Great Britain. The island has a population of around 2,000 and natives there are traditionally nicknamed lapins, after the many rabbits seen on the island. It is known for its annual, mid-September motorsport weekend, the Alderney Motor Sport and Hill Climb and the Alderney Performing Art Music Festival. Alderney is also the name of a location in the Grand Theft Auto video game franchise.
