In a recent email, Lewis from Boundless informed us of their upcoming rendition of Paris-Beauvais Airport (LFOB) for X-Plane. Paris-Beauvais is an ‘exciting’ project for Boundless, as it will be their first scenery based on an airport outside of the British Isles.

Unfortunately, the announcement does not include a “features list”. Yet, Lewis did tease the upcoming scenery with a few screenshots.

The scenery will take advantage of the new X-Plane 12 functionalities. Nonetheless, it will keep X-Plane 11 compatibility.

Lewis hinted that the rendition is on track for a release this month. Once released, Beauvais Airport will be on sale at the Boundless Direct store. The scenery will cost £13.99 (or €16.32).

Paris-Beauvais Airport is an international airport situated in the French town of Beauvais. Beauvais Airport is 85 km north of Paris, making it infamous to Parisians due to its far location. The airport acts as a base for low-cost operations, notably for Ryanair. Its lower traffic frequency also allows for general aviation and business operations. Notable destinations from Beauvais include arid Amman, picturesque Palermo and sunny Seville.
