Blu Games reviews CockpitMasters 737x CDU

Written by on June 30, 2021

The market is heating up for Flight Simulator hardware and CockpitMasters new 737x CDU is no exception.  For those simmers who are looking to expand their home cockpit into another realm of realism, a physical FMS (or MCDU) can make a massive difference, particularly when multi-tasking through the cockpit and wishing to maintain your view out the window.

It’s not cheap, however – clocking in at $770 USD (at the time of writing this article) the price may be off-putting for some simmers.  However, the price is comparable to other offerings in the market.  In fact, CockpitMasters is well under its competitors when considering build quality and compatibility.

Current support is listed as per the following:

  • FSX: PMDG 737NG, PMDG 747, PMDG 777
  • Prepar3D V1-V5: PMDG 737NGX, PMDG 737NGXu, PMDG 747, PMDG 777
  • X-Plane 11: ZIBO 737-800, IXEG 737-300
  • MSFS: Coming soon (PMDG 737NG)

With planned support for the incoming PMDG 737NG for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, The CockpitMasters 737x CDU will certainly be a fine choice for simmers who are looking for an added level of authenticity at home.
