The team at Aerosoft has taken to their Facebook page to announce the release of their rendition of Bielefeld Airport (EDLI) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This scenery was developed by FlightSim Studio but is commercialized by Aerosoft.

The user can expect an authentic replica of the actual airfield. The team has used PBR textures. Furthermore, the developers based themselves on over 100 photos taken on-site. Besides that, they have modelled the interior of the ATC tower giving the user an even bigger immersion.

The windsock and the flags are fully animated. In addition, the developer designed custom static aircraft and custom lighting. The scenery is optimized for both PC and Xbox it is thus available to a more significant amount of users.

The Bielefeld Airfield is located about 7km south of the city centre. It is mainly used by regional companies, private individuals, and local air sports clubs. It was built to be a hub for business travel in the region. Its runway has been expanded in 2002 and is 1.2km long.

If you wish to purchase this scenery, you can do so through the Aerosoft website for 10€. If you wish to learn more about Aerosoft and their current projects, I suggest you have a look at my other article here.
