FlightFX’s and Volctech’s Cirrus SF50 Vision Jet is landing for Microsoft Flight Simulator later this month for $24.99. To be more precise, we’ll be able to enjoy the new aircraft in MSFS on November 22, 2022.
The Cirrus SF50 Vision Jet is a single-engine jet capable of flying up to 1,200 nautical miles. The version FlightFX is bringing is the improved G2 version, adding RVSM, allowing for a ceiling height of 31,000ft and improving the range. It is also fitted with an autothrottle and reviewed flight deck and upgrades to the cabin.
Nick from FlightFX said that the team has been super focused on the small details and really trying to capture the experience of flying the real aircraft. Whilst the aircraft is not even released yet, the team is already working on subsequent updates that will feature further enhancements, Nick also said.
The aircraft is going to feature three different seating configurations that match its real-life counterpart, adjustable cabin lighting, or a Bose Active Noise Cancelation system. Since we already touched on the sound topic, the addon is also going to feature a multitude of custom sounds recorder on-site with professional equipment.
What’s more, the product page promises custom-built initialization pages, a reworked and optimized navigation suite based on the Working Title’s Garmin G300, and dynamic aircraft registration on placards, PFD, and statics.
The addon has been developed in cooperation with real-world Vision Jet pilots to ensure accurate behaviour of the systems and aircraft itself on the ground and in the air.
