Airport keeps making gains after lost years

Five years ago, when the Grand Junction Regional Airport was embroiled in an FBI fraud investigation that threatened its credit rating and forced the airport authority to reshuffle its capital improvement plan, it was hard to envision the kind of positive developments we’ve seen in 2018. Adding flights has long been a goal of the airport authority. The board hired Angela Padalecki in January as the airport’s executive director largely because she understands how airlines make air service decisions. In her previous job at Denver International Airport, she oversaw relations with 35 airlines. Grand Junction Daily Sentinel
